Stanley Bright Yellow Retractable Utility Knife
Excellent, quality product. The color stands out so we don't lose sight of them as easily on our work benches or tool boxes. I can find one just glancing across the shop area. The length of the die cast metal body of the knife is a little longer than we've had before which is great. Secure grip. Well balanced in the hand, right or left-handed users. Replacing blades into the retractable mechanism can be a little tricky, but once done, works flawlessly with no exposed blade between uses. No exposed blade in the toolbox which is nice when searching around for a knife. Protects the blade as well. It's easy to use, not a plastic throw-away and as safe a utility knife as you can buy. Not like they use to be!
Shipping paper that was in the unit was extremely difficult to remove, the unit couldnt be opened to remove it. The button when pressed to push the blade out would not push out or pull in making the unit useless. I had one I purchased a long time ago & it worked great! I thought this one would work great as well but it didnt! I did notice it was made in China, Someone did mention in a previous post that these are junk.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Favorite razor knife ever, this same model made in china is complete junk, glad to find one of the old MADE IN AMERICA models, think I'll buy a couple more in case i loose them so I have a lifetime supply!!! nice big handle makes easy to hold onto MADE IN USA model holds the blade in place (china model does NOT) easy to open and change blades (china model gets jammed and difficult to open) easy to extend and retract blade (china model won't stay extended and jams when trying to open) LOVE THIS MADE IN USA MODEL KNIFE well worn looking made in china knife is not that old the finish is just cheap on it and worn off right away

My favorite utility knife
I am a remodeling contractor and I carry and use one just about all of the time. I like that it is slim(fits in your pocket) lightweight and is a quick change. Also, it bright yellow so when you set it down along with all of your other tools, you can find it. My buddy had one of these. And after fighting with my push on the side with blade all the way out heavy one. I decided to upgrade it weighs a 1/3 of my old one. Changing blades is a dream.
