So far, so good
I've used a Basch and Lomb coddington magnifier for 20 years. This one perhaps doesn't have quite the optical quality of the B&L, but it is close, and far better than most of the inexpensive magnifiers out there. It also appears to be better made overall for a lot less money, and the LED light is way superior to the incandescent bulb in the B&L. This one also came with a very good case.
