This is a nice jigsaw.
This is a nice jigsaw and especially good to get rid of the corded style after so many years. The only feature I don't like is the clear plastic blade shield which fills up with sawdust and obscures the vision of your cut. I simply removed the shield, easy fix, and now it works great. Im keeping my old Bosch for a backup but it will probably not see much use. Overall, the Makita is solid, works well just like most of their tools.

Nice combo at a great price
This is a very nice combo of jigsaw and carrying bag (both are brand new). The jigsaw is solid with a nice set of features and continues my confidence in Makita cordless tools. It has plenty of power and is easy to control. The bag is a Makita branded bag which has plenty of room for the jigsaw along with several convenient pockets to store accessories and extra batteries.

Great Addition To Any Toolbox
As with every Makita tool I have purchased, this jigsaw is a long overdue addition to my collection of their 18 volt series. The jigsaw has tool-less blade changing as well as four blade oscillation settings and it comes with a snap on plastic protection shoe for the base to keep from damaging finished surfaces. The operation of the saw is smooth and has very little vibration. It is also well-balanced with a 3aH battery and the weight won't wear you out. If you're looking for a well-built unit to add to your collection or just need a solid, capable jigsaw then this one is for you.

Awesome little portable tool.
This is the quickest and easiest to use tool for small projects. If you have the smaller batteries it does eat through them quick, but for small projects or quick this is indispensable. It also has a tool-less quick release for swapping blades. Beautiful Makita!
