  • Perfect marriage of a Martin D35 and EJ16 strings.

These are the only strings I use on my D35 with a fishman pickup. Crisp clear clean and convincing sound. Have tried most likely a couple of dozen different strings over the past years and I'm convinced these are the best for the sound I'm looking for with the guitar and acoustic amp. Rich bass notes with ringing high notes Strum that last chord and let these strings ring out. Do a little mid range riff and it comes out sharp and crisp without overdubbing from resonance. Just a wonderful beautiful reproduction of acoustic amplified sound. They sound great unplugged but most of my playing is with amplification.

  • Lightweight and very full sound

My guitar now has a more fuller sound, then it did before. and, I really enjoy that. I mean the strings come in very organized, colored coded for the strings. Which can be very helpful for beginners. If you are a beginner, then i highly suggest you get these strings, but thicker. This because, it will be much easier to play lighter strings, and can make you more advanced.

  • String up and ready for fun :-)

What's to say? These are D'Addario strings! Excellent for Martin travel size guitar and others of the same family, Cigar Box Guitars or beginners. I like the light crisp sound they produce and use them on one of my electric guitars.

  • EJ16 on Martin J40

When i bought my Martin J40 it had these strings on it. I had never used a larger model instrument with a lightweight string before. I was looking for a guitar with good tone and sound projection. These strings have given sound projection with this instrument. I would not recommend these as a sure thing with all guitars, because all guitars are not the same. However it is certainly worth a try! I tried a great number of brands on my Martin J40 and none have given the sound that these have.

  • Playability - incredible Sound crisp beautiful

These D"Addario EJ-15 extra lights on my Martin D-18 were exactly what I wanted. In fact, I wish I bought these 30 years ago. The guitar was made in 1952 and has a rich tone to it. The T'Addario's help bring out this tone with it's Phosphor bronze crisp sound. It's playability is simply amazing. I was thinking of departing with my guitar, but am having second thoughts after buying these strings.

  • Good strings for a reasonable price.

Just now used the first of the strings I purchased, as I always keep a supply of these around. I have always had good luck with them and rarely have any strings break provided I get several winds around the tuning machines. I always loop the strings around the tuner prior to inserting the string through the hole in in the tuner. I also regularly use a string lubricant which I believe not only easier on your fingers but extends the life of the strings. I anticipate I will continue to use these strings on most of my guitars.

  • D'Addario phosphor bronze are the best!

I've been playing D'Addario phosphor bronze strings since the mid 1970's. I've tried the other brands, but always came back to D'Adarrio. With most strings you get either warm lows or bright highs. D'Addario phosphor bronze give you both! I know this may sound like a commercial, but I have never worked for them. It's just the truth.

  • Best strings around

Tried many brands and types of strings for acoustic and electric guitars and I always go back to D’Addario strings.

  • Great deal on great stuff.

I like DAddario strings and tuners. This is a cool hidden tuner. Strings are great. I also like their silk and bronze strings as well as their violin strings and violin hidden tuner.

  • I was expecting a little Frampton to pop out and tune her for me!

You guys are amazing. Speed of delivery, price, and I now can play Dad’s old flat top, to Momma, as she lays comforted by Me and Hospice, in these final days. Tears me up, but you made a old Martin “come alive” bless ya’ll. RW in SC
