Perfect Replacement.
Our dryer door handle had broke on the small single center tab after years of use. It simply popped out of the outer metal on the door, leaving a bit of a mess. So after looking around at extremely overpriced OEM and non OEM parts I found this one. It was stated to replace the faulty one even though it looked to have two different raised tabs rather than the single centralized one that came on the original. Taking a chance I ordered one as the price was right, and it did not disappoint in the slightest. Sturdy, solid, and well made, I was very optimistic about this handle so I went to install it. Rather than take off the door and install it from the inside I went with the fit and tap method on the front of the dryer door. It lined up perfect, and popped into the slot like it came from the factory that way. Installation took about 25 seconds (yes seconds). 15 to line it up and lower it in, 5 to triple check it, 3 to get ready to tap, and 2 seconds to lightly tap the handle to push the tabs under the edged metal into the door (use a rubber mallet or the open palm of your hand with a light strike). Fits snug without any movement. Completely perfect without any issues. Pros: price, quality, availability. Cons: I should have bought more just in case a friend needed one lol. I wish all of my other replacement parts for my car were this perfect lol. If there was any con, it was that I had to clean the door as the handle looked so nice and clean. Honestly, I don’t write a lot of reviews here, but this was such a good fit that I had to express how good of a purchase this was. At the time of this review the drying has gone through at least 2+ dozen loads and the handle hasn’t moved, changed, warped or anything. 5/5.
