Wow!!! This is the first time using this type of training collar because of the spikes, but it works wonders in just a short time period. It just serves as a reminder to your dog and really is not in anyway injuring your dog. The first time using it I had no problem with the dog. My wife saw a night and day difference using it where she is walking the dog not the other way around. She was the hardest to convince in using this type of collar. Excellent quality
This was recommended by the trainer I am working with for my cocker spaniel. He was a rescue and has some aggression to be worked through. Most of the time he is the most loving dog but he gets extremely possessive with special treats and I end up having to take them away. I want to one day be able to give them back and not have him threaten us. Therefore I'm paying a trainer so that we can change his behavior the proper way.
