Good well-priced filter for my little machine, which is a little noisy but not too bad--like white noise. Helps a cat that has asthma and keeps dust down in the house. They are True HEPA Filters for one thing- extra good that & these particular ones are 12 months- so you don’t have to worry about changing them as much & I think it’s also in the long run a better value than the three months filters. Plus they really do seem to make my air quality better & I have allergies, year round, so I’m pretty sure I’m right because turned off for just a bit while I wipe the unit out & change the filter, maybe an hour sometimes, because I like to do a thorough job wiping it all down with micro fiber cloths & don’t plug it back on yet, just in that amount of time, I notice my allergies bothering me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

HEPA filters are the way to go !
Normally I consider these expensive from retail outlets but here on eBay you can find ones at a more reasonable price. Make sure the ones you get are still sealed in plastic to ensure they are not used or recycled. I use a tower air filter by Holmes and it has made a significant improvement in my indoor air quality. Make sure you get an air cleaner with a carbon pre-filter which does a great job of eliminating odors and catches the larger particles thus extending the HEPA filter's life dramatically. I change the pre-filter twice a year and the HEPA filter once a year and it seems to work well. AVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
