Great Grocery Cart!
Since losing my wife in 2020, I order my groceries online and have them delivered to my front porch. I have health issues and it is still a chore getting the groceries to my kitchen, SO I ordered this VersaCart to assist me in that task. The cart came 99% assembled and just had to pop on one set of wheels to make the cart usable. The cart is extremely sturdy and easy to move. There is also a cover that can be Velcroed across the top, which comes in handy to keep items from rolling over the top. Unique, well made cart with with both good and bad attributes
This is a unique, well made cart which holds a lot and collapses nicely for easy storage. The only issue I have with it is the small wheels and how they get stuck in wide cracks and between uneven surfaces when there is an abrupt change in height between them. This is especially so when the cart is heavily loaded. On more than one occasion it came to an instant stop when it hit a separation in the pavement where one side was higher than the other. A cart with larger wheels would have easily gone up and over the rise. When traveling along at a good speed it seems like one is hitting a brick wall when it suddenly stops and won't move. It's then necessary to rock the cart and lift it over the bump. It's an awkward bother. Still, this cart has it advantages. It's large and folds easily. Buy it if you will be primarily using it on flat even surfaces. If you'll be using it on city sidewalks with pavement gaps you're better off with a heavy duty cart with large wheels. Love my Versacart, so easy to use
Great wheels make for very easy manouvering, one can be standing upright while using it. Has cover for basket if it is raining, perfect for getting groceries from the car to the house. I have had excellent service from mine, and recently searched all over, finally found one on ebay, and bought it for my daughter. Best shopping cart ever!
I absolutely love the Versacart! We have a girls group that goes shopping a few times a year to a big outlet mall. One of the girls had one of these on our first trip and it was amazing! We all threw our shopping bags inside and then would make a trip to the car after it was full to unload and go back to shop further. Since the first trip, two more carts have been purchased within our group so we have less trips to the car to make and can shop more and longer! We have actually used the cart at a large indoor mall and it saved on our arms from carrying all the bags and saved on time since we didn’t have to go out to the car to unload our purchases ever so often. It’s a Black Friday shopping essential too! For groceries, this is considerably more user-friendly than the typical wire shopping carts
I love this! Not only is it functional to haul items in from the car, it folds up very easily and stores in a very small space. The royal blue and white color scheme is very nice looking as well. The only thing I would have done differently in designing this cart would be to reverse the colors of the wheels--the plastic wheel trims could be white instead of blue and the rubber wheels blue instead of white. White wheels are not going to stay white for long and then it will be less nice looking--although I have no doubt the cart will always be highly functional. Love This Cart
Great cart to carry just about anything! We beat out last one up--had it for two years and used it a lot. Ordered another and will probably be just as hard on this one. A Great Help
This product is proving very helpful for bringing groceries into the house, taking trash out, and generally just transporting "stuff". It is also helpful moving laundry from hamper to untility room, etc. I am recovering from a badly shattered leg and I love my Versacart. Adequate size, manuevers well and collapses easily.
My wife and I live in a third floor condominium. We use the cart mostly for groceries. It must fit in a small closet when not in use (it does) and hold most of a weeks shopping (it does that too). The cart moves effortlessly and the front wheels pivot smoothly. The canvas interior and frame appear strong. The wheels are light and it will be a while before I know how well they will hold up. LIGHTWEIGHT AND WONDERFUL!
If you live in an apartment or condo and need to get your groceries from the car to apartment, or if you walk to the market and need to carry a few market bags home, there is absolutely nothing else that works as wonderfully as this cart. I had a very expensive one from the container store that was heavy and didn't really hold much. This, being soft (it's a waterproof canvas) is flexible and holds about 5 large grocery bags! There is a bar across the bottom so it can accommodate the weight of heavy bags. The cart is extremely well-made and feels like it will last for years. One big feature is that the wheels are like stroller wheels, so you push it instead of dragging it. This makes it very easy on your back, arms, and shoulders. It's also great for transporting bulky items to the PO or back to the store. I really LOVE this cart and would give it 10 stars if I could. There are NO negatives. And eBay's prices are about $30 less than my usual go-to Prime source. This is the 2nd Versacart I've gotten. I've had the first for 6 months, have used it almost daily and it's still in perfect condition. Just got this 2nd one for a vacation home because I'm now so used to it I don't know how I'd get along without it. Buy it. I guarantee you won't be sorry. PS: It comes all assembled.
