Works with Tivo for local channels
I bought this for my tivo roamio. I got rid of cable but before I sent back the cable card to the cable company I had local channels, once the cable card was removed no local channels. So I took a chance and bought this so that I could get local channels and it worked. Great device ... verify restrictions with cable provider
Pros: The card worked perfectly. It installed easily. It validated. I tested it with the devices firmware test routines. All good! Cons: My cable carrier requires me to rent either a card or a cable box. Since I own a box, I decided to use their card. BTW, it is exactly the same card, just different serial numbers. Locked and locked-out M-Cards

Not Cisco or Scientific Atlantic Replacement
If you are looking to replace your Cable cards to avoid paying your provider a monthly rental fee. make sure you have a Motorola cable card already. Works with Tivo after you cut cable
