Saved the beloved electronic.
My SO has an affinity for a certain type of Logitech keyboard and mouse configurations. However he also tends to lose things. A lot. Repeatedly. Which means up until now we had to replace a lot of the above. Well NO MORE. THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS DEVICE. I cannot even guess how much space and money this could have and would have saved us in the past present and future. I intend to get more. Just in case he loses this one too. I found an M-505 Lazer Mouse in the Dumpster & I put batteries in it . It turned on so I ordered this Receiver & it works on my Chromebook w/ the App installed & on my Desktop Windows 7 computer just Plug & Play.....!! This Unifying Receiver works Great. I use Linux Operating systems, so I used an old Windows laptop to "Pair" the Receiver with my mouse. Replacement OEM receiver works great.
It synced right up with my M705 mouse. Be SURE to delete any older Mouse/sync settings in the Logitech menu or it will NOT work! One problem
I didn't know that after I installed the unified receiver with my K260 keyboard that the original receiver that came with the keyboard would no longer work. I wanted to use the keyboard with my laptop but still use it with my desktop. I now have to move the unified receiver to the desktop if I want to use the keyboard.
