Does the job better
I read about this dryer vent and how it was better for the dryer efficiency so I bought it. I replaced the dryer accordion type connection from the dryer to the vent also. I installed the straight pipe from the dryer to the vent so there's no air obstruction now. It's bigger than the regular dryer vent and the air flow is more, so it was worth it. This is the second time we purchased this product. Previously we purchased one for another house and we loved it. It is easy to clean out and limits drafts and keeps any pests/rodents out.
