Small and fast!
This is the second guitar tuner I have. My first one decided one day not to work anymore, no battery change could put it back to operation. That was a "brand-X" so I decided to get a more renowned brand... and although my guitar is not a Fender, this one was welcome to my gear set. It's very sensitive an fast. No need to wham the string and it shows the value almost immediately. Just resting it on the speaker grid of my Yamaha keyboard is enough. When I'm in a quiet room, it will pick up the guitar and respond mostly as it should, though sometimes I had to play a harmonic to get it to respond. Easy to use, but for me, it’s a little bit of a far reach if I have my guitar already held in place with my strap. Makes Tuning Easy
This is a fantastic little tuner. I've been playing for over 40 years and for most of that time I tuned by "ear". While at a music shop the owner showed me a unit like this, how easy it was to use and I was totally sold on it. As soon as I got home I looked it up on eBay and got my first one. I've given two away to other pickers and this is my third. Can't think of any reason ever to get another type of tuner. Best tuner ever!
Having owned many guitars over several years, the ability to tune them to the correct pitch has always been a problem. This little jewel takes care of that, and at a very attractive price. At first I had an issue with the second set of strings on my 12 string, but getting it close by ear, then switching to the chromatic setting did the job. If you own a guitar or any of the other stringed instruments this will tune, then you need this.
