Safety First
First off I want to say I've been riding (cycling) for over 40-years. I've been wearing a rear view mirror for over 10-years. (I usually get a Third Eye mirror.) The safety factor in being able to see what's behind you is well established as virtually all motor vehicles have mirrors, and now some come with rear view cameras. This product has great hardware and mounts very solidly to your helmet. (I used zip-ties to additionally secure it as my helmet curves where it mounts.) All the adjustments for up-down, left-right are nice and tight. You also have the option to extend or retract the length of the mirror arm, all this is very nice and better than most other mirrors out there. The only issue I have with it is that the actual mirror is convex. This allows for a greater field of view, however the images reflected in the mirror appear much smaller to your eye. This presented a real hazard to me as I constantly had to look for extended lengths of time to try to understand what those tiny shapes in the mirror really were. I wear prescription lenses under my cycling sunglasses and have never had any issues with normal flat rear view mirrors. But with the convex reflection I cannot see clearly what's in the mirror. I have finally glued a flat mirror over the convex and solved this problem. Please be aware of this minor issue with this otherwise great product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
