Skagg electric violin
This thing is obviously not a $1,000 violin. That said, it is very very cool. Out of the box was playable, though definitely requires setup help, ie, bridge needs adjusting, strings replaced, the bow is junk, etc. BUT! It sounds amazing through the PA and zero feedback issues, which is the idea of one of these, no? Our band's fiddle player received it from the group and was delighted, other than the issues previously mentioned. She did play it right out of the box and it sounded excellent. Would recommend to realistic buyers, but if you want a top shelf fiddle for this price, it's probably not for you. And that is unlikely to exist anyway.
