The Best Investment I Have Ever Made !!
This "Miracle Gro" Tumbling Composter is one of the best investments I have made. It was so easy to assemble ( there are "Step-By-Step" instructions included in the box)....but since I am a visual learner, it was much better to go to the web site and VIEW the actual assembly. Everything goes together easily and no tools are required ( except for the final 4 screws you will use to secure the tumbler to the base). I chose the 28 gallon and I am pleased I went with the larger capacity. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this compost tumbler. I won't have to spend unnecessary cash for plant food, because I am making my own now.

Good composter
You get what you pay for. For the price, this isn't bad. Easy to put together. It works. That being said, it is plastic. I don't expect it to last more than a couple years, but we'll see. Holds alot of compost though. Gets heavy when full. Aerates the compost well and is pretty easy to turn.

Very poor quality
Very poor assembly. I had to wrap the item in gorilla tape because the weal, tiny, cheap plastic connectors immediately break. Poor quality. I only sold it about 1/5 of the way and immediately the connectors snapped and all of the compost or of falling out of the bottom. I had to get really strong gorilla tape and wrap the compost or about 5 times on each side to make it stay to gather for the most part perion I still lose compost every time I turn it and I can't believe that whoever designed to actually thought these tiny little plastic connectors would stand up to 28 gallons of heavy wet compost. This item appears to be cheaply made in China if any item ever was and miracle gro should be embarrassed to put their name on this junkie, cheap quality, poor performing composter.

I really can't evaluate this composter because I haven't gotten to use it yet. It arrived in good time and was easy to assemble. One of the baffles was missing. I'm looking forward to using it this summer.

It's a very good item. The only trouble I find is that the door is not real easy to open, it kind of sticks, doesn't slide easily. The barrel rotates find, but would be nice to have some kind of handle. It's very sturdy and not hard to assemble and is easy to clean.
