Good power for the price!
I ordered this amplifier to replace an old 250 watt Radio Shack brand amp that was beginning to show signs of age. The power of this amp is exactly what I expected, but the clarity difference from my old amp to this one was impressive. I even had to hook the old one back up to see if I was really hearing as much difference as I thought, and I was. This is not a super powerful amp but it is slightly louder than my old amp with great clarity. One of the mounting tabs was bent when I unboxed it and there was no damage to the inner or outer box so I assume it happened at the factory and should not have gone out that way but everything works great and the tab straightened easily.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Punch but overrated amp
Actually the item seems very well built, pumps out some decent punch but some reviews out there are actually over rating this item by far, you just get what you pay for therefor its a fair deal, nothing more, nothing less. and be very careful this item does not pumps out 225 Watts RMS per channel @ 8OHM, a more down to earth number will be 175 Watts RMS per Channel @ 8OHM 2 channels driven.

No power
Still can't make it work with my 2 18" subwoofers. Will not send any power to speakers. Might be asking for full refund if I can't figure it out. Worked on it for 2 weeks. Power light comes on but No power sent to speakers. Need to send back for replacement or full refund. Please contact me. Reviews also said it is not 400 watts at 8 ohms. Lucky to be 200 wats. My two 18 speakers 8 ohms are rated for 500 watts RMS per side. Maybe this amp isn't powerful enough to drive my speakers. 400 watt per side should have been fine. Then I realized it is only 200 watts per side according to reviews. Wish I would have known specs were 1/2 what is advertised. But truelly none of this matters because it doesn't push any power at all. Very dissatisfied. After further reviews it sounds like the sys 7000. 500 watts RMS.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing amplifier for the money!
Very skeptical about buying this amplifier. Received it a couple days before the delivery date. Set it up with ease, and OH BOY what did I discover. A amplifier that brought back my 22 year old 15 inch crewin vegas.... which had already shorted out two underpowered amps. I could easily open my windows and start a block party. Initially, I wrote a poor review of this product. Later I found my cables were bad. That caused weak output. Finally I found the problem. This small amp is great. I could not be more pleased. Best you can get in this price range.
Amazing power amp for a very low price, I am pushing 2x12 cabs plus 2x 2x15 cabs and its very good with plenty of power. I have a Crown that I used until I got 15s cabs which I could not connect to Crown due to 4ohm min load. This amp has 2 ohms min load and I am runninh 2.7ohms with current set up. Sounds amazinggly clear and powerfull. Ihighly recommend this power amp. Already used it for couple of gigs and it was flawless.My set up was for a club sized gigs but right now with this power amp I am not worried to play even twice as big places. As for how long it will last that is to be seen but so far I have no complaints. It sounds as good or even better than my Crown which I had for 5 years and it was very heavy. This amp is light and my rack is much lighter now which my back appreciate.

Well I got 2 of these amps and bouth had Bent rack ears. I straightened them out with plyers.so I'm thinking that were dropped.thay do fire up and amplified sound.but if that I get more of these and that also come with Dent's.well I will go someplace else.and that's all I have to say about that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
