  • Needs a change of Lipo

Since the Dragonfly was made in 2007, you can't bring the lipo back to useful life. I was able to force some charge into it, and did get it to fly in a downward spiral. I located the lipo in the back part of the body next to the tail boom. It is tricky because the tail motor uses thin wires that run near the lipo. If not careful, you can easily break one of these wires and the tail motor won't work. I tried different size lipos from 30mah to 150mah. The lipo that comes with the Dragonfly is 50mah. I found that 150mah worked best. The important thing is to carefully position the battery so the Dragonfly is well balanced. It is an ok flying ornithopter. Better than some, not as good as others.
