Maybe it's actually a 5 star. Time will tell.
Replaced OEM headset with this MX unit. Install went fine, no issues. My only concern is the long-term health of the rubber seals above and below the bearings. There is a thin lip/flange on the outer edge of the seals. This is what you don't see in the picture of the headset at the top which makes the top cap appear to levitate. It is of similar design as Chris King so who am I to question those experts of Engineering? It just makes me wonder why have that space there at all? And all rubber dries up and cracks eventually, especially a piece less that 1 mm thick. But if in 10 years I have the headset running fine (and remember I bought it on eBay), I'll come back and change my review to 5 stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice Cartridge Bearing headset
I bought this to replace and old school bearing and race set up. It all went together pretty smoothly and so far works well and looks good. One thing to consider might be stack height.
