Nice, bright, but too high
Many of you will probably not have this problem. I have an old Savage Model 94 "Revelation" 410 shotgun. The sight slipped on very nicely and tight against the bead, as directed. My problem? My bead does not stand "proud". In other words, it's a bit flat on the top...not as high...as most beads. Therefore, the green Glo sight stood a little taller than the old bead and caused me to shoot lower. Now, you can compensate for this with practice, but it took me a while to figure out what was happening and why I was missing some easy shots. So, before I could put my bead right on the varmint I was shooting and hit it. With the Glo sight, the sight needs to be on top of the varmint. I wasn't used to that, so I gave it away to a friend and I'm using the old bead again, this time painted white to stand out more. So, be aware that it might not line up with your sight if your bead is low. But I think mine was an anomaly and I didn't wish to continue having to shoot that way. I rate the product high and highly recommend it just the same. I'm probably going to get a Glo stick and glue it directly to the barrel and do away with the plastic housing of the sight. Thank you.
