Was looking for a seat to get head higher out of tub. This works perfectly. Keeps the bubble noise below the ears so we can hear our music and conversations. Only one flaw
My wife wanted this for our Intex spa due to her height. Seat is made of heavy plastic and she really likes it. It stays in place well. It has 2 height settings. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there is no locking mechanism when the legs are places outward in the high position. So if the person sitting on the seat shifts their weight to adjust their bottom position, it is possible for one of the legs to collapse and fold downward. Good but not great.
We like having the seats so we are a little higher in the spa but the design causes you to sit up straight. It’s not too bad but they are not designed to lean back against the side very comfortably. BETTER than I imagined!
This seat is a heavy-duty plastic. The only picture that is shown never does it justice. The underneath is where all the magic happens - each of the four "legs" is very sturdy. This not only has rubber "feet" on all legs, but also on each "knee". The lower part of each leg folds inward for use on the shorter of the two heights. Elevated Seat
What a buy compared to other seats! Open box items were without damage at about half the price! We have hot tubs in my Washington home and my wife's Florida home. I made floating tables so we could have dinners and breakfasts in the tubs while we watch TV and really enjoy it! Our Lifesmart tubs have low seating, so a elevated 'chair' is necessary to enjoy dining. We have marble filled cushions in the Florida tub. They are too low and unstable for good dining.
