Great topcoat
The dye from a leather briefcase was running on my clothes. This resolene coated the leather much like a clear coat finish on paint. It has a sheen, not too shiny, and did darken the color a bit. It fixed the problem and made it look great.

Outstanding sealant
You use this at 50:50 resolene to water for acrylic painted leathers and it's outstanding. I wipe on and let dry two light coats to matte a glossier product a bit. The more you use the more it will matte a finish so if you are matching another piece (i.e. car seats) slow and steady wins that race.
