The Miller Automatic Egg Turner 6300 is compatible with all Little Giant Incubators. For optimal hatching results, be sure to use the thermometer provided with the incubator, which is securely mounted on a plastic holder and placed flat on top of the eggs. Avoid manually moving the egg rails and do not overload the Egg Turner, as this may cause damage to the motor and void the warranty. Keep in mind that the Egg Turner takes 4 hours to complete its side to side movement, which is not visible to the naked eye. If your incubator does not have power cord exit slots, you can easily create one using a screwdriver or similar tool. Simply press down along the edge of the incubator to form the slot. For more detailed instructions, refer to the product manual.

    Works Fine

Item works fine. Easy instructions and easy to use, I changed it over to the Quail rails with no problems.

    Flimsy

Surprisingly flimsy. I thought I was going to break it just taking it out of the box. I chose this egg turner partly because I thought it was made in the USA (which I tend to equate with good quality items), but it turned out to be made in China like most of the others. With shipping & the exchange rate, this item ended up costing me about CA$120, but after seeing the build quality I would say it's worth about CA$30 at the most, so I'm not too impressed with the item. Apart from the motor, everything is built of a lightweight & brittle-feeling plastic. Even the motor seems cheap & flimsy. I loaded it up with 28 duck eggs (it's supposed to handle 41) & it felt like it was going to break from the weight of the eggs. I've used it once, and it hasn't broken yet, but even though I handle it very carefully, I feel as though it's just a matter of time before this thing breaks. I would not buy this item again now that I've seen it.

  • the best egg turner around

I've tried GFQ's egg turner and it broke while cleaning. the Little Giant is great, and stands up to cleaning and many hatches. This is my second one, and I highly recommend this brand.

  • Little Giant 6300 egg turner

Good turner, does the job. First Hatch went well. Plastic seems a bit brittle, if you do not remove the rails exactly as instructions state, there is a good chance you will break them. Otherwise I am happy.

  • Stopped working half way through Incubation....

Stopped working half way through Incubation. I have one just like it that Ive had for over 10 years and it still works. I guess the quality has gone down over the years. SAD

  • Take the hassle out

Worry free, never have to touch the eggs. Used these for years. Highly recommend.

  • Quail eggs do not fit.

It was suppose to have the quial rails for eggs but it only comes isthmus the chicken egg rails. It is advertised to die either but that is not accurate. If hatching quial eggs, you will have to purchase rails separately. Wish I had known this before I ordered.

  • 1st time in use.

I haven't hatched any eggs yet - will be doing so in a few days - I can see that it moves the eggs a bit - I always did it by hand before - I'm anxious to see my hatch rate....if it is good, then this is amazing!
