All I can say is "WOW!" I purchased one trap and put it in my barn. A few hours later, I caught my first mouse. Disposed of said mouse, reset the trap and another few hours later had mouse #2! This ius far better than the other traps I have been using. Easy to bait (I used peanut butter) and set. Rodent disposal is super simple and clean. You never touch the rodent. I'll be buying more! Excellent trap but use with care (i.e., follow the directions!)
Very good at trapping and killing errant chipmunks. However, use with care and be sure to follow the directions. I tested a trap with a one half inch diameter stick, and the trap easily snapped the stick into two. Easy to bait, easy to set , easy disposal. Isn't that what a rat trap should be? I have been keeping about 8 on my property in an upscale Orange county , ca. Neighborhood. In the year I have kept them set and maintained I have caught 97 rats using them.
