Best product for making solid connections!
Excellent way to confidently connect your fixtures to your cable. I used 14 Ga. wire and once you place the slotted end of the connector on, you tighten the other end down by screwing it on. Works really well on new install when first laying out your lights, ( do it when it's hot and sunny and the wire is really soft and pliable) or as I do to replace corroded connections. OLD STYLE WORKS BETTER
The old style is much better. 2 of this type broke before getting one to work. Whe your in a tight position to install this type, you have a 50/50 chance of a good connection. This is by the far the easiest and most versatile way to connect lights to a low voltage set up. Great way to reuse older lights with broken/worn out connections. Very Good except for #12 wire
Purchase twelve of these initially, 2 broke at the hinge while installing. I'm using #12 wire so I don't recommend these for this large a wire. Should be fine for smaller cable.
