Rear placement. Stock setup was quite, new setup is not much louder. Midbass - 3/10 Its there but not loud in back or noticeable up front. Treble - 6/10 Same thing, it's there, but with the tweeters being parallel, they point at my cargo area. Better for dash mounts. Also, the grills are just surround cover.
