Hard to find good wire
I am a hopeless DIY audiophile who has gone off the deep end more than once in trying to improve my system's performance. My latest voyeur was in rewiring all of the point-to-point connections inside of my power amplifier from the stock 22AWG solid core nickel plated copper. While the system sounded "good" I had a sneaky suspicion that it could be made better with a few day's worth of cutting, twisting, and soldering. I used this wire in conjunction with 20AWG PC-OCC magnet wire twisting it into a Litz configuration. Some may say that I am certifiable at this attempt and should be locked up for a few decades to get my mind straight but my thoughts were much like world-class mechanics who balance drive shafts and universal joints to achieve that final little edge over the competition. Well, long story short, it worked. The sound has a fluid and non-metallic sound to it with highs that are succinct and unstrained. Pianos have never sounded more real as have the rivets on cymbals buzzing away. Individual wire brush whisks can be heard easily, the bass is fast and tight and deep, and the music is now one step closer to the "being there" experience extreme audiophiles crave. It took three days working about 9 hours a day to change out everything but it was definitely worth it. Pretty sweet wire here. Grab it while you can.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
