It Works!! It Really Does!!
I have used Cobra radar detectors for years. This is my first Whistler, and I am amazed. Just today, the Whistler sounded an alarm. We were coming into a small town. After about 2 miles, I told my wife that it must be a false alarm. Nope, almost a mile more and a "THIS IS YOUR SPEED" sign was registering my speed. Sufficient
Well its kinda hard to get it just right on the setting . I started with just city mode but was missing a lot of police cars . It would go off but way to late . Oh I need to add that the voice does not work on just standard city mode . I have since set it to City 1 mode and it seems to do better . I'm getting sufficient warning of police with radars on . the only down side is its supposed to be smart learning tech or some bs like that . other than that its ok but not the best you know .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awesome precise radar
This radar is better then the last one I had, that I purchased close to $400, and this one way cheaper, and a hell of a lot better then those expensive ones. I love how this one gives at least a mile, and a half almost of detection, performs so much better, I enjoy the lighting, from bright, medium, and dark. it’s a quality radar system easy to use and understand. the volume control allows you to set it at loud or as low as you want.
