Cotton-Duck-Butterfly-Chair-Replacement-Slings-for all newer models & some originals
It seemed better than others I have seen used but the material should be a heavier duck, seriously, and not just nitpicking. It's a good value compared to the local cost of having an upholster make them (you'll faint) and this company does have slings which are more sturdy than many others on eBay. The quality seems better but there is not equal additional tacking on all the seams. There are three on one side and one on the other though they will endure the same stress and equal weight. Also, and this was a big what if when I ordered them, the bottom tab angles do not quite fit the pockets of the original chairs or the second generation issue of them.This is not to say the illustrations and their measurements were wrong, they weren't but the curve/angle of the pocket wasn't true to the original chair design The sellers likely do not know this simply because unless you are an antique dealer you will likely never see one from that time period but only the latest re-release. I suspect that continued, long-term sitting will cause the lower curves to wear through the sling quickly. I actually wanted leather but could only find them made in India and am familiar with their tanning process which is at best, second rate, for over-sea goods of this type. and I couldn't get a usable outline or dimensions from anyone and given the price it wasn't worth the risk. I hope I am wrong and these last as long as the previous set. I'll let you know if you want, say in a year. they are on a covered patio and won't be getting much direct exposure to the sun. I do not want to discourage anyone from buying them as I will likely buy another pair when these are no longer usable and I suspect they will still be the best product around eBay.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
