  • Parrothead guitar players, you need this book!

If you're a Jimmy Buffett fan, as I am, and you play guitar, then this book is a "must-have". It has the music and lyrics to all his best-known songs and plenty of other songs that Parrot heads would know. It also has some history by people who knew JB best. I have only one real complaint: I wish the book had been published spiral bound. It's done like any hard cover book so it does not lie flat very well. Since it is predominantly a music book, it would stay open better spiral bound. Other than that, the lyrics, chords, and what tablature there is is clear and easy to read. A little over a year ago the world lost Jimmy Buffett to cancer. I have been a fan since the early 1970s, and it is still strange to think he is gone. But the "Gulf and Western","Keep the Party Goin'", "Drunk Caribbean Rock 'n' Roll" lives on, and this book is essential for those of us who keep the songs alive.

  • Must have for Buffett fans!

Great book! Every hit and lots of rarities in this 300 page book! All guitar chords are there, and while it may not have tab for everything, it does have it for certain songs that help with guitar hooks. Buffett himself was in on the book from the beginning, so it is not just a guy with a guitar pecking at chords to find the right ones, but the writer himself made sure it was right! great pics and forward/stories by Jimmy and longtime colaborator/photographer/writer Tom Corcoran. A must have!!
