Hard to not be happy for the price and quality.
For the money compared to a brand new factory part this replacement is absolutely worth it. The weight of the unit is comparable to the factory part and based on pulling measurements off of the factory part the fit is right on. The hinges cups were right on and needed no adjustment. The latches and hardware all seemed of pretty good quality and finish and needed very minor adjustment. I made the effort to check all the fasteners for tight although maybe only one of them needed any additional torque. The paint color was dead on and of good quality beyond a few very minor runs at the lowest edges of the tailgate and a few inclusions in the paint. There was a minor scuffing from the shipping packaging on the highest face of the tailgate but it appears that it will buff out quite easily. The only problems were a SLIGHTLY ill-fitting handle assembly due to the fixed bracket position inside the tailgate. This was MINOR on my unit and I adjusted half of the discrepancy out very easily in 5 min. Also, the tailgate cables were of different lengths enough that only one is carrying the weight of the tailgate when down. All things considered, I’m totally happy with the purchase. The order process was easy and the turnaround time given that it was painted to match my vehicle was surprisingly fast (I would have been happy if it had taken 2-3 days longer if the paint had cured a little longer to avoid scuffing in transport).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice -But to light duty
I purchased this tailgate knowing it was a lesser quality than factory, BUT did not think it was as light duty as it is. When I received it had shipping marks on the paint and the latch was mounted crooked. I was going to return it but then it slid of my saw horse and scratched it so i fixed that and buffed out the paint also fixed the latch. Installed it think all was good but you could feel how flimsy it is when you step on it (I'am 275lbs so I know a bit more than the average). a short while later i was loading some cut logs (big ones) and it bent a little. It later bent again but i don't know what I was doing when it happen. It looks nice but for someone who uses there truck i wouldn't recommend, should have spent the extra money for a factory tailgate.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of after market tailgate and the matching of the paint was amazing. I provided the paint code and they matched it perfectly. The clear coat was applied properly. It was package appropriately and was double boxed with styrofoam in between. It arrived unscathed. It took about 3 hours to remove my old tailgate and transfer the latching mechanisms and emblems from the old tailgate to the new tailgate. It was an exact fit. And the price was right!

Received my pre-painted tailgate for my F250 and it came protected in sturdy packaging and in a timely manner. Ordered the cap separately and needed new emblems as well. mine has a few dings in it and it doesnt close like the one i removed like it has a twist in it when its down one cable is tight one is very loose my old tailgate they where both tight when downand i could close it with one finger i tryed adjusting and adjusting and still the same you need to slam it to get it to lock???

Can’t beat the price
I ordered this tailgate not knowing what I would get, but thought I would give it a try. I was reading reviews that it was poor quality and thin metal but also read positive reviews. The tailgate is not quite as heavy duty as the original, but I have to say it is totally worth the purchase. And it is a replacement for a 13 year old truck so I didn’t want to spend $600 - $1000 on an OEM replacement. Ordered this part painted to match. Sent in paint code and the part matched perfectly. Paint work was flawless as well. To get a new replacement tailgate painted to match for $300 bucks!...you can’t beat it. The Tailgate fit just fine but is not very sturdy.
It came out of the box with 2 huge dents I'll have to later get out. I needed and inspection sticker so I had to use the tailgate as it was no time for a replacement. I did not even attempted to get a replacement as I didn't have the time to wait for a new shipment or the task of trying to get the replacement in the first place. I am not happy with tail gate at all but I will make do. My advice is do not order from them if you are in need of it as must have item but if you have time the product is not junk by no means but they ship with Fed ex and from my experience with Fed ex they do not care if you get your item damged or not. Fine a new shipment system and your products will be handled better. But I will say they was the cheapest. Get what you pay for I suppose.
