Does not produce quality grind
I was excited to have a burr grinder. This coffee grinder was primarily bought to make espresso and greek coffee. Tried it out on its finest grind setting and got a coarse grind, wasting some good coffee beans after several times trying to troubleshoot it. I chose this because the reviews were good and I was looking for something compact. THE PRO: Looks nice and does not take a lot of space on a counter. Replaces Melitta coffee grinder, good value for everyday coffee making
This coffee grinder is clearly made to replace the Melitta grinder. It works very similar to the Melitta grinder that died after a somewhat disappointing 3-4 run. This type of grinder will not give perfectly ground coffee with a high degree of control. If you need that spend more money, this is a value priced machine. That said one difference with the Melitta is the hopper capacity in 8 oz compared to the Melitta's 12.
