  • New life to a good pen

I have always wanted a vintage Waterman Flexible pen. A real wet noodle. Maybe a Swan or a Eversharp with a warranted 14k gold nib. First good luck getting one second hope you can afford it!!! I bought a Noodlers Konrad Ebonite pen and I replaced the Noodlers nib with a G nib! Wow!!!!! I am in love. Pen rocks writes like a million bucks. Flexes from a hair line to over 2mm!!! Get hood Clairfontaine or Rhodia paper because this demands it. It will tear 20lb paper in a second. Also get plenty of ink. It will go through it like mad! I love this nib and I highly recommend it. • Strong yet Flexible

I like to have line variations when I do my sketches. I have been using standard crow-quill nibs and calligraphy nibs but I was never happy with my lining. I bought the Zebra comic nibs to test, and I liked them instantaneously. They are strong, flexible, write very smoothly and produce very nice pressure lines on different types of paper. What I do not like about them is they do not hold much ink - I need to dip them in ink very frequently for lining, unlike crow-quill nibs. I tried to use them in a fountain pen to avoid this frequent dipping (there are you-tube videos on this), but my attempt failed. I found them too long to work as a regular nib in a standard fountain-ink pen. I wish Zebra would make nibs like these for fountain pens. All said and done, they are nice nibs. They are not that expensive and I definitely recommend.

  • I bought these to put in regular fountain pens after watching a YouTube video.

The nibs are very flexible, and it looked like you could do great copper plate writing, trouble is the end of the nib is very scratchy, I should maybe have got tipped ones, that's with like a little ball shape on the end....these don't have that and while great for drawing, scratch when using them for handwriting on the backstrokes they cut into the paper...just a heads up to any one who wants to buy for writing like me

  • great product

these are wonderful for calligraphy, western cursive fonts, anything with lots of wide line variation. they don't hold a whole lot of ink (especially because liquidus inks just drool out fairly quickly) so i put a tiny bit of tissue in the vent hole to greatly increase the capacity (removing/replacing the tissue every time i use it, cleaning it before storage) i am also considering gluing/soldering a pen spring to the backside of one to use as an "ink cage": a bit more permanent of a solution to that problem. unfortunately, i am yet to make a very successful fountain pen with one of these nibs despite multiple attempts and a few destroyed nib feeds. i will update this review once i am successful!

  • Keeps up so far

I've compared it with many manuscript nibs like principal etc. And I can clearly say that the Zebra G is stands out. Both durability and performance are perfect. The pressure that you need to press with is a little bit above avrage, but I got use to it after 1-2hours. Thanks, and I would reccommend!

  • Old Faithful

An excellent nib that I always go back to. The nib has a great flex, and a super wet feed. A tried and tested nib and a favourite amongst artists and writers.
