Awesome MiFi 4G Device
This is an excellent device for 4G WiFi on the go. I have used one for about 7 years because I travel a lot with my husband, and do not want to used unsecured wifi when doing banking and other personal work. This device model ( 7730L ) has always been excellent..... I can use it in the car as we are on the road headed to a new destination. My phone carrier no longer offers this model, so if I change models I will lose my current plan.... I went searching online at their recommendation.... If I could find one I could keep my unlimited plan for now. This was a great find, It's in awesome condition, still in the box with battery and charging cord and the price was amazing... I should get many years of use. Great for Verizon users for others not so much
Once properly set up, it is a real gem. Works seamlessly all over the world. This hot spot is easily set up if you are a verizon user. If you have service from another carrier, some technical ability is required to access the administration screen and to change the APN in order for the unit to interact with your carriers signal. If you do not know what an APN is, or where and how to obtain the one for your carrier, this unit will be quite problematic for you to set up. Because it's a Verizon branded product, tech support will be difficult to get from other carriers. You would need to find a way to get to Novatel (the manufacturer) and hope you reach an agent who will pity your situation enough to help.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight and handy!
Nifty little gadget that comes in handy for numerous uses. Prior to buying this I would always have to go into my phone setting to find the hotspot, turn it on and connect. The jetpack allows for seamless connectivity and easy setup. The battery under an average load of usage, lasts about a day, not quite as long I was hoping but still decent enough to use. I like the fact that the SIM card slot is easy to access on top of the unit without having to remove the battery as with the newer jetpack 8800. Took it in to activate and ran into NO PROBLEMS. The jet pack itself works perfectly fine and has no scratches or defects. Great product. As if it were brand new out the box. Great hotspot poor longevity due to engineering flaw. Wonderful coverage.
Always purchase the extended warranty with these. They typically only last a year or so because of a overheating problem. The signal output on these is great, I use this in a large house (2700 sq ft) with lots of brick and I can pull a connection (2.4ghz) from basement to top floor and web browse. I have had many hot spots and this is the first to work everywhere I have tried it. It has many advanced router features and is very user friendly and customizable. The battery is pretty good as it lasts several hours. I would say that if it didn't have that overheating bulge issue every year or so it would be the best hotspot value wise on the market. Lastly, check to see how Verizon coverage is in your area before purchase. I used Sprint for a while until they made some network change that broke connectivity on this and many other folks I know devices in my area. IF Verizon has towers in your area and good coverage then I would say definitely buy this but keep an eye on the battery and performance so you can call in that warranty.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Love it - should've purchased it sooner!
I love this jetpack! It allowed me to cut the cord with the cable company by providing internet access through my existing Verizon account. It says it will allow up to 15 devices to connect to it - I currently use it for my cell phone data, TV and laptop. My main reason for purchasing was for mobility as I will now be traveling full time in my class A RV. It is password protected with touch screen functional menus.

Tripled my download speeds and as good as a new one.
Thus Jetpack 7730L was in like new condition. I activated it on Verizon to replace my old Jetpack 4620LE. It works perfectly and my download speeds tripled from an average of 20 Mbs to an average of 60 Mbs.
