One thing I didn't like about it is it wasn't really that easy to figure out how it is supposed to be installed, and in my opinion simple U-bolt clamping just isn't good. I tack welded the brackets after I got them where I needed them to be. I also installed this in the winter, and it is cold up north. I really thought about taking one damper out for the winter, but I'm getting use to helping the steering back to straight after a turn.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A must have for lifted jeeps
I highly suggest you watch Atleast 3-5 videos on YouTube before installing. Just so you can see how it’s put on by different people. It looks hard to install but you will soon realize it’s a very simple installation process. And I suggest you have a cutting wheel for the bracket that you are taking off, unless you want to unhook your tie rod and then you will need to get it re-aligned.

Highly recommend it.. for me the steering of my JK was too sensitive.. installing these after installation of 3" lift was perfect.. It took away the over sensitivity that the jeep had but did not over kill it where it was hard to operate. Don't listen to all the here say of you don't need one etc etc. Until you install it, you won't know. I have no regrets and almost listened to all the here but decided to go with it because I wanted my jeep to drive a certain way.
