This light is great. It is smaller than it looks in pics which is great since my firearm has a 4" barrel. Extends maybe 1/2-3/4 inch past muzzle. The light is a lots brighter than expected after reviewing other light and the candle power of them. I felt this light would be perfect for in home protection. I had mounted it on firearm and did a clearing of rooms with light on or off as I entered rooms as a test. I'm not convinced that brighter would be better. Still working on a way to manipulate the switch and still have good weapons grip. They all seemed to have the same type of switch though,grip switch option would be nice? Overall great little light,brighter may cause some unwanted glare/reflection/flashback in small room/house. P.S. the light function is great, it just has a design flaw, you need the longest fingers in the world to properly activate the light, at least using it on a Glock, you can not maintain a proper firing grip and turn the light on , the other two streamlights I have work great this one is not cutting it,Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great light!
I got this for my Glock 19 Gen 4. It looks good on it, is sturdy, and bright enough to illuminate a room. It is fairly easy to remove and reattach. The selection of holsters for the gun/light combo is somewhat limited, but there are a few out there. Right now I leave the light on the gun at night for home defense and when I want to carry the gun in the daytime I can remove the light with the edge of a coin and carry the gun in my regular holsters. Although I have night sights, with this light they're not necessary because the light makes it easy to line up the front and rear sights. Great tac light
As owner of a H&K USP .40 S&W I have very few choices for lights or lasers. The TLR-3 is one of my options. It’s pretty small staying tight to the gun. Love the on off switch style. Very useful and easy to use. It looks great and isn’t very long so it doesn’t stick out in front of the muzzle very far. Wouldn’t pay over $90 for it though.
