Heavy duty, good locking mechanism and a magnetic closure on the mail delivery slot. The delivery unit is large enough to take small packages but not so large as to permit easy access to the mail by thieves. The edges and over hangs are gently rounded with no sharp corners. Wow! What a great, secure mailbox!

As advertised, very solid
This mailbox is built of thick steel and is actually quite heavy. The mechanisms to limit access to the mail once it is deposited work well. As advertised the locking mechanism is made of thick steel and should be difficult to circumvent. The only disappoint I have is that this particular model did not have the removable mounting plate so during installation you have to tighten the mounting bolts from the inside of the mailbox (thus the one star demerit).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

why didnt i buy this sooner?
