I found Autel IM508S very useful tool, and it works great together with XP400 programmer. I cloned old key and resolved Immo issue for my 2000 VW Beetle (which I bought with just a valet key, and previous owner lost the PIN code). I tried key fob programming tool on pre 2007 cars with keyless entry and found it will not work on pre 2007. Hopefully it will work on cars made after that year. Easy to use to check and turn off a check engine light during a busy day. Only problem is that the light is out but the code is still stored in computer memory.
