Be careful
Guide pin broke within 30 seconds of the first time I used it. The pin could've been cracked from the factory. Luckily they send two spares. Other than that , it was simple to set up and easy to use.

Time saver
I use to be a carpenter but back in the day we would chisel out the hinge areas by hand. I am older now and saw this product. It seems well made and sturdy. I am confident when I take it up to my cabin to set in a new door frame this item is going to make that job go very smoothly.

I love it.
This is actually a replacement. I got my first one in 2005 and have used the hell out of it. It's simple to use and it works perfectly every time. The ONLY issue I had was the nails. I dropped a couple and lost them and I couldn't find any replacements. I have the strike plate jig as well and I love it too.
