Good Logitech Product, 'trouble-some' default software
Camera is easy to setup, easy to use. I don't recommend leveraging the Logitech software (Logitech Capture) however. I noticed a delay between audio (instant) and video (delay). While the Logitech Capture software was easy to use and navigate, I couldn't make it work without delay. Normal methods of use for the camera, Discord/Zoom/Logitech Hub etc, have no issues but of course don't permit video/stream settings. Use other software for that if needed. C922 is good, good software features, C920 still better.
Overall the C922 is a great webcam although strangely the C920 is still better for sharp focus on the background, it's most noticeable in the corners of the frame. The chroma-replacer in the software is a nice added feature, though this webcam is meant to be used close-up. If you need an overall great image, I'd recommend the C920 instead, unbelievably. I'm a tech reviewer on YT and thoroughly tested this camera before coming to this assessment. I'm not sure I'd buy refurbished units, I ordered two and one of them didn't have a sharp picture. Exceptionally easy device to install and use
This product was extremely easy to use. Simply plug in the USB and select the device from settings even on my company firewalled computer . Great camera, buff needs one basic feature
It is a great camera, no doubt. The one feature that I could not get is pan (rotate) the camera after I mount it on a PC or a monitor. It is fixed and if you want to turn the camera to the right or left it is not possible. Easy installation on a PC and immediate recognition of the camera. Very easy to set up, amazing hd quality, just make sure you have the right lighting and you will get a very good image. If you use a Mac you will have to take a few extra steps to use it to its full potential because the software is very basic for Mac users. So downloading the webcam settings app is really a must. Fast camera with great image quality. Plug in and go.
What I appreciate about this webcam is that the framerates are pretty spot on. When you move your hand or body, it will be immediately instantaneously mirrored in the cam. The image quality is very good also, even in low light situations, but 'shines' to perfection when you have a properly lit background. So if you want to do professional videos for posting online, all you need to do is to have good lighting and you're good to go. The sound from the cam's mic is the other part of it; it's good but not the best - just like the C920 before it, so if you want to do pro stuff, it's best to get an affordable cardoid microphone - which come really cheap these days for something pretty good, and augment the camera with that. All in all, I really love this camera. It's the best consumer cam that you can just plug-in and it finds all the drivers and just works perfectly with all your programs automatically. It's also a really good professional device for if you want to use it for work, or for posting vids online. It focuses well and quickly, has a wide field-of-view, and is pretty quick to show your actions as they happen. Excellent!
