4 D maglite
4D maglite good quality flash light. Already have 2D cell and mini mag AA battery. Never had any problems with either on had both for years just lately up graded both of them 260 lumen led in the 2D and 150 lumen led in the mini. Both had halogen bulbs from factory and was bright. As time went on they were geting dim so just up graded to led bulbs. And althoughhaven took my 4D maglite of package yet plan on up grading to led on this one too. Good, but not all that I was expecting
I bought this flashlight to replace one that I owned for probably 20 years. The new ones are not the same as the old ones. My old flashlight experienced battery leakage that froze all the batteries in side and I couldn't get them out. The new light has two inches less checkering on the barrel of the light which makes it a little more slippery to pick up and hold. Also beware of the "Krypton" lamp or bulb. It is not the standard flashlight bulb that was in the older flashlight but a two prong light bulb much the same as their Mini Mag. So, if you bought an expensive LED standard light bulb to make your batteries last longer, then you are out of luck because you can't use it anymore. I wish I had known that and I would have looked around to see if I could have found one of the older models.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bad very low lumen

If you drop it, it won't break!
My Dad carried one of these flashlights and he only bought quality. Albeit this flashlight provides great light which extends quite a distance in the darkness, my Dad said, "Son, in a day and age where authorities will arrest even the innocent for carrying something to defend themselves, they can't arrest you for carrying a flashlight." What he meant is because this flashlight is medal, 14 inches in length and hefty, it can be used as a baton if necessary. MagLight = Quality
I have an original Maglight that was made when the Patent was still in the Pending stage and it was well built and still works When I had a problem with the switch I sent it back to the factory and they replaced the switch at no charge. I bought this Maglight as I wanted a flashlight that I could use with the Aftermarket LED Bulb that I bought which won't work in the older light as the older light has a Head that is longer and the switch is set toward the back about a 1/2". As with all Maglights this light is durable, Bright and was a good price. For a well built durable light I recommend the Maglight.
