    Falken tires for life!

    I run falken wild peaks on my truck. They are 5 years old and have 63k miles on them and they are still at 11/32 tread. The wild peaks wear like iron. I bought these rubitreks for my winter beater. It’s a jeep grand cherokee. For the price, I couldn’t help myself and also being a big fan of falken tires I didn’t have to look any further. Falken all terrain tires are great no matter which one. They look great, ride great and get awesome traction. They’ve never let me down thus far! I won’t buy anything else!

    A+ so far in my first 3k miles.

    Put these on my 1996 Toyota 4Runner Limited 3.4l back in November 2021. We had a very bad level 3 winter storm this year here in Ohio, 8 inch thick of an odd mix of icy/snow. In 30 years of life I’ve never driven in this type of “snow”. Very dense, was eating vehicles all over the city. Many abandoned vehicles throughout the roads in my area the night we got hit. I work in public safety and did not have the luxury of staying home during the Level 3. Hopped in my ride the morning after we got all the “snow” and these tires owned the terrain. I’m sure the Falken wildpeaks would be just as good if not a little better….maybe? But I don’t see how much better they would be because these Rubitreks were killer! Needless to say these tires (coupled with new Bilstein 4600 shocks and OME coils) in 4WD handles everything with ease! On dry pavement in the twisties of SE Ohio, these tires grip VERY well. These are nearly identical to the wildpeaks except for a slightly less aggressive sidewall tread and the center layout is more uniform which is better suited for on road driving which is perfect 99% of the time. If you need mud tires for pure Off road use buy M/T’s, if you want a great all around aggressive on/off road, street edged A/T tire don’t hesitate on these. I drive aggressively…too fast most days but I also keep on balances and rotations so after these tires have reached their usable limit I’ll post up a new review to share mileage I got out of them with my intense driving I do. Oh, also they are surprisingly quiet. Smoother in everyday driving compared to my previous Goodyear Wrangler H/T’s I had before. Nice work Falken!

    Early review, so far, so good

    2003 Ford Excursion 4x4 - early review as only had them on for 500 miles. 315/70r17 e-rated 10-ply, mounted and balanced well. Deep aggressive tread is quiet on the highway and handles extremely well with no sidewall squirm, especially with an 8000lb vehicle. Haven't had it off-road yet, but seem like they'll do well.
