Great system. Love it.
Easy to set up and deploy...the kit came with everything required to set up four cameras and record to a central base station/router. It also comes with 3 months free Arlo cloud storage trial which is necessary in order to monitor the system when you are away from your home wi-fi. Since this is something that I absolutely require, I will be paying $10/month for the cloud service. Nothing really prevents someone from walking up and stealing a camera or two; this is another reason to have the cloud because even if the entire system is disabled or stolen, you would at least have images of the thief on the cloud. Each camera delivers sound and is capable of broadcasting your voice via the app. Each camera also has a spot light and can trigger a siren. The app allows individual configurations of each camera in each of these aspects. I am not at all convinced that the camera batteries will last 6 months between charges. But there are many power-sucking features that may not be necessary and which can be disabled to extend the battery. I just installed the system last week, so the jury's still out. The entire system can be rigged to be 'armed/disarmed', automatically triggered by the presence or absence of mobile devices within the secured perimeter. Arming the cameras only at night or only when you are away is probably a good strategy to save the batteries. The other morning the front door camera picked up a stunning 2K video of a blackbird in full flight. We live in an area frequented by deer, bears and other furry neighbors. We hope the camera in the back yard will show us some of that action! Oh, I should also mention that each camera can have up to a 160 degree field of view..it's amazing how much coverage a single camera can provide. The system is expandable to accommodate additional cameras. Arlo was recommended to us by our country sheriff's department.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent cameras
Arlo is the top of the line for wireless security cameras. The video quality is excellent and the AI algo recognizes humas very well. The external mounts for the camera is very sturdy. I wish they came in different colors so it could be hidden more easily. The only thing I would wish Arlo would do is provide local storage in addition to cloud storage.
