super good pellet pistol
I'm 82 years old and have an occasional rat problem, I liked what I read about the Crosman 2240XL, so I purchased one,. I installed an adjustable trigger spring and installed an electro dot scope. I just finished sighting it in for about 35 feet which is longer than most of my shots have been so far. With the adjustable trigger spring, there is a nice smooth easy pull and the scope is dead on !! 2240 XL Excellent
I have several PCP Air Rifles. I had to try the Crosman 2240 XL in .22 caluber. I put a red dot sight on the pistol, and it is very accurate. I am getting approximately 40 solid shots per each 12 gram CO2 cylinder. There are a ton of aftermarket parts, but bests of all, the 2240 comes with a threaded barrel for adding a suppressor. With a suppressor, it is so quiet, you will think it’s not functioning properly until you hear the pellets hit the target. This gun has plenty of punch!

I bought this to shoot indoors during the shelter in house period . fun to shoot ,but louder than i thought it would be . to loud to shoot indoors . the sights are a little crude but good enough for short range plinking .
