Killer upgrade at a hard to beat price
If you have an amc 242ci l6 with stock 1 hole injectors you really should highly consider upgrading to the 24lb 4 hole or the 27lb 4 hole injectors. My 04 jeep wj 4.0 gained 4 extra mpg and some additional throttle response. It gets 24mpg on the highway now! I'm here to tell you they made a pretty noticeable difference. I had my parts 3 days after placing my order. You'll save what you spend on the upgrade in fuel in the first month of running these injectors vs the stock ones. Not the 12 hole I was expecting
I paid for 12 hole injectors as advertised, I received 4 hole injectors. I installed them didn't feel any difference, waiting to see if the gas mileage gets any better, the part looks descent but there is no way of telling if they are actually Bosch brand, after a couple weeks of driving I get 2 MPG better with these 4 hole injectors, don't feel any power increase maybe smoother acceleration. Great upgrade for our 2000 Cherokee classic. Installed with a heat shield kit. All the old injectors that I removed had cracks and some where leaking. Didn't even know I had that problem. There are all sorts of injectors out there...But I like to have a headache free jeep...so only the best parts go on for replacement. Worked good for my 99 Jeep Wrangler
Needed to replace a leaking injector on my 99 Jeep Wrangler. I bought theses and replaced them as a set. Took about 20 minutes to change all 6 injectors. My 98 TJ idles terribly, throttle delays, and eats fuel
First of all the title states 99+ wranglers. In the description it’s 98+. So I gave it a try. Had to get adapter’s since they are ev6 and mine were ev1’s.idles horribly, throttle delays at 2k rpm, and spits to much fuel. Yes I did reset the (3 times in a week span) PCM including draining capacitors an turning headlights on...etc. I ended up putting my stock ones back with new o-rings and check engine light went away, idles right at 650, no throttle delay and gas is back to normal. Bosch 4 hole ev 1 ‘s on the way let’s see how those work. Had them too long and can’t return the injectors and adapters since I was working on another project YJ.
