Your Kreepy Krauly pool cleaner will not work at all well if the "skirt" is defective. It will not be able to make proper suction w/ pool surfaces if the skirt is torn or ragged. This skirt is very simple to install by removing the 6 screws attaching the body to the brush ringed section first. Also, very important: DO NOT LEAVE CLEANER IN POOL DURING SUPER CHLORINATION OR SHOCKING POOL". Wait at least 6-8 hrs. before returning cleaner to pool.
