Funtional and simple
The fact that it is brown on one side is a small detractor. This keeps you from doubling it and getting twice the pad. It is easy to handle and install. Measuring and cutting after the steps is tough, so do this before you install steps if you can. The pad require removal bi-weekly for cleaning around the steps. That is an easy task. I would recommend this mat and would purchase it again.
