    Guitar strap

It fits well, it is comfortable and provides that vintage 60's look that I need for my oldies band

  • Top critical review

Nice solid and simplistic classic design. Real leather. Did have some production issues (arrived curly, folded)... still a good buy

Strap had damage.. (was curly in a way that felt unpleasant when worn) Factory second. Maybe I was unlucky. Leather softener and to days stretched sorted out the issue. I own more comfortable straps and less comfortable straps, but generally I wouldn't call it a particularly shoulder friendly design. It does cool looking and is kind of a no-brainer if you are on a budget or into functional, clean designs. I am a smaller size guy so I detached the leather extension and used only the main strap part after making a new hole for strap knob. I would not load the strap with heavy LPs but it is nice for my light weight tele's and strats. My 3-stars is due to the strap arriving with damage/folds/curly leather. Since I don't know if this is a general issue with these straps at this price point or if I just was outta luck with my purchase, I cannot give better score

  • Decent strap, albeit a bit short

Decent quality vintage strap.......if you enjoy playing your guitar at crotch height a la certain pop punk bands. Had to bore a hole in the strap to play at a normal height. even adjusted to the highest setting the guitar rested right below my navel. Otherwise decent guitar strap

  • it was a gift.

My friend loves it..he said all it needed was some neetsfoot oil (to make it a little softer) and he added a rivet to keep the pad from slipping, once he got it adjusted to where he liked it. He is very happy with it now. Great all leather strap!

  • Fender super deluxe strap.

Had one before not too long ago. The leather on the new ones are paper thin. Buckle is plain as well does not match picture online. Supposed to have aged buckle with fender logo and scroll work.

  • Classic Seems Best

After owning, trying, gigging, wearing a myriad of different guitar and bass straps I found that these Fender classic / vintage style straps work the best. The Gretsch ones, too. There's less unnecessary leather used and it just looks cooler to me. More functional. And it has a buckle. The practicality of this strap reminds me of the the old-time Fender tuning pegs where you just slip the end of the string down into the hole then wind. Brilliant! Couldn't be simpler. Why did we move away from those? After using these straps on a number of my guitars and basses, I'd say I have the same feeling here. Why did we move away from this simple, practical, efficient strap design? They're a winner in my gig bag.

  • High quality item

Was happily pleased with the quality of this strap. A nice high quality well made piece of kit. Based on price I was anticipating low quality materials and work quality in other words just plain cheap and flimsy. The strap is really nice and completes the look of my 1962 Harmony Stratotone perfectly. Very happy with purchase.

  • Great if you like the classics

I'm 6'1" and this strap allows me to hang my standard-body guitars and basses at hip height, which is perfect for me. It would be a little short for a Gibson-size Explorer or V, or anything with the strap pins further apart. Quality leather, but know that in this price range, the pad is pretty rough until you break it in. This is the second one I've bought, and I'll be getting another for my acoustic.

  • Pure vintage style guitar strap

Identical to the straps that came with guitars in the '50's and '60's. Nice leather and padding in the shoulder pad. Good value and a great vintage look. I have two now; one natural and one black. They look awesome with my Tele's and Dano's!
