Best value for a wood lathe.
Great value! A very well built product that comes with the basic accessories needed to get started. Its well built and easy to operate & maintain. The variable speed and the reversible direction are great features and the controls are easy to access and use. I have found the very low rpm capability of this model to be very useful and yet the the lathe can still provide the normal higher rpms needed for turning small items. The only con I have is that I mounted it to a flat top stand and it can be difficult to clean up all the wood chips from under the bed unless I use compressed air. Is it a real problem? Not really. I am am very happy with this lathe. Its been a great addition and is a perfect fit for my woodworking hobby needs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is my third mid size wood lathe in 20 years, the first two were single purpose basic low powered machines of little quality or performance. As expected a couple of pieces were missing. The drive bit, and the face plate. It also took a little work to fix the error message but after that everything has worked well. The drive bit was relatively inexpensive and so far I don't need a face plate. I have made multiple items and so far things have been great.
