Be prepared! 10X magification with light will show you some things you may not like!
I love this Simplehuman lighted make-up mirror. Being cordless is wonderful, and it stays charged for months at a time. Being small it takes up only minimal space in my bathroom. Having a sensor, you never need to remember to turn off the light when you walk away. I just ordered this one for my daughter because she likes mine so much she wanted a replacement for her big, corded, mirror with only half the magnification. Since it is small and compact with a travel case, it is great for trips or moving back and forth to school. Expensive, and no way to replace light bulb or repair any part of the mirror.
The plus: Bright light and great magnification These mirrors are very helpful in seeing details, which is of great benefit as people age. The drawbacks: However, they are WAY overpriced, and they don't last long. They break easily and there is NO way to repair them or replace the light bulb. The light stops working every few months. The stand snaps in two if the mirror gets knocked off the counter. So each time something goes wrong (mirror light fails, mirror cracks, the stand breaks) the customer is stuck ordering a new mirror. So if you can afford to replace a$100 to $300 mirror several times a year, this is a good purchase :( I would love to find an alternate brand. The only reason I continue to get these overpriced , frustrating mirrors is because my vision is slightly impaired so I need to light and magnification. I am very grateful that the mirror helps me see, but the price is too high considering they cannot be fixed and reused.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I bought one for myself after trying out my sister's, then bought one for my daughter also. We all LOVE this mirror! It compacts to a nice travel size too, with a good carrying case, since hotels usually don't have any type of magnified lighted mirrors for women to put makeup on. I just bought a second home and forgot my Simplehuman 10x mirror there. No way can I be without it for 6 months, so I wanted another one for my new home. The Fabulous Simplehuman Sensor Mirror
The magnifying aspect is the best part of the mirror. Definitely go with a 10x magnification if you are buying a magnification mirror. It is a big difference. It’s just the right size to apply makeup. The mirror is cordless and easy to recharge. It also has a travel case. The light is a bonus. I feel it is a little pricey, but in the end it is worth the money. This is the second one I have purchased. I bought this mirror for my daughter. She uses it for her ortho k lenses n says it’s an upgrade from her previous mirror.
