Believable characters, Saturday Morning Serial stories.
This is a series of Saturday morning cartoon serials starring Clark Kent as Superman, and Lois Lane as a brave and aggressive newspaper reporter. The animation is better than Comic book animation, but not as good as the original Pinocchio which was a feature length movie with animated shadows. A view into early forties Cartoon Superheroes and Superman in particular. This is well worth the expenditure for fans of Superman, forties serial cartoons, and sociological values of the period. Classic Superman Animation from the 1940’s
Blast from the past! If only other Fleischer animations were done based on the superhero genre at the time. This is a gem that captures the “freedom” of creativity and not censorship.
